Natcast (short for The National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology) is a new, purpose-built, non-profit entity created to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government.

Content Specialist, NSTC Workforce Center of Excellence  In this role you will help shape semiconductor workforce development in the United States. by creating compelling content that influences industry leaders, policymakers, and educational institutions. 
Every day you will translate complex workforce data and industry insights into engaging stories that illuminate the path forward for semiconductor talent development, working alongside leading experts in both workforce development and technology innovation. 
To thrive in this role you must combine exceptional research and writing abilities with a passion for workforce development, demonstrating both analytical rigor and creative storytelling skills that can be combined to build compelling narratives that drive action. 
Natcast, through the NSTC Workforce Center of Excellence (WCoE), leads the nation's efforts to develop a world-class semiconductor workforce. As the operator of the National Semiconductor Technology Center, Natcast uniquely bridges the interests of industry, academia, and government to address critical workforce challenges that face this innovative sector. The WCoE's research and insights directly influence both national and regional workforce development strategies and help shape the future of semiconductor talent across the United States. 
The Content Specialist plays a pivotal role in translating workforce research into actionable insights that guide the semiconductor industry's talent development initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to influence national workforce policy while creating compelling content that drives meaningful change in how the industry approaches talent development. 
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive workforce development research and analysis 
Create data-driven reports and white papers for industry stakeholders 
Draft engaging blog posts and articles on workforce trends 
Interview industry experts and program participants 
Synthesize complex data into actionable insights 
Collaborate with data scientists to interpret research findings 
Develop content for multiple platforms to promote thought leadership 
Engage with stakeholders across the semiconductor ecosystem 
Monitor and analyze workforce development trends 
Contribute to program evaluation and impact assessment 
Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in public policy, journalism, or a related field 
3+ years experience in research or policy analysis 
Expert-level writing and editing skills  
Record of public-facing writing 
Strong qualitative research capabilities 
Experience in stakeholder engagement 
Demonstrated analytical skills 
Experience with program evaluation 
Proficiency in data visualization 
Strong project management abilities 
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the semiconductor industry  
Experience with public datasets (IPEDS, NCES, Census, state data) 
Background in workforce development 
Technical writing experience 
Data journalism expertise
