Contract Renewal Specialist

National Power, LLC is actively seeking a Contract Renewal Specialist. Under the general direction of and reporting to the CISV Senior Director, Service, you'll be primarily responsible for working with customers to renew their annual generator service maintenance and repair contracts. This will include identifying and managing renewal opportunities, negotiating complex deals, and securing long-term renewals.
The role also includes review, analysis, and presentation of contracts, as well as some general account management activities. Our customers span numerous industries and include hospitals, nursing homes, municipalities, and data centers, to name a few.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Proactively contact existing customers to sell/extend their generator service contracts
· Provide customers with a can-do, single point of contact to manage the renewal process and all accompanying paperwork
· Work with internal resources to develop comprehensive strategies to attain renewals
· Uncover sales roadblocks and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve them
· Prepare professional, well-written quotes and contracts, per company guidelines, to present to customers
· Achieve quarterly and annual service contract renewal goals
· Promote service products and services outside of past contracts whenever possible
· Proactively communicate large contract renewals in advance to the Service Operations Manager to ensure timely completion
· Identify customer attrition risks, create mitigation plans, and engage internal resources as required to successfully retain at-risk customers
· Develop and create reports as required, including monthly reporting on service renewal performance
· Strive to learn and understand backup power generation and National Power's unique offerings
· Utilize company ERP software (Dynamics SL)
· Maintain solid relationships with key customers
Education & Requirements: · A high school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
· 1-3 years of experience in contract renewals.
· Fluency in written and spoken English.
· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Compensation and Benefits: · Competitive pay depending on previous experience and current certifications. Overtime is also a factor and is paid at 1.5 X base. We are a performance-based company and pay will ultimately reflect the employee's productivity and overall performance.
· Three weeks of paid vacation after 90 days (first year is pro-rated based on start date)
