The Sr Tax Accountant position's main responsibilities include preparing schedules for tax provisions, quarterly estimated tax & corporate income/franchise tax filings while assisting with sales & use tax and property tax filingsThe Sr Tax Accountant is responsible for assisting with corporate income tax matters, income tax return compliance processes, and researching tax issues, analyzing applicable tax laws, and documenting conclusionsIn addition, the Senior Tax Accountant supervises and leads others on projects and offers direction to achieve tax department goalsThe Sr Tax Accountant will report directly to the Tax ManagerPlay an active role in preparing provisions for federal and state taxes, rate reconciliations, and reserves for uncertain tax positionsAssist with calculation and preparation of quarterly corporate income tax estimated tax payments and extensionsPrepare schedules for federal, state and local income tax filingsPrepare property tax returns, Sales and Use tax returns, annual reports, and other miscellaneous filings as requiredProvide support during any tax audits
