Contract-To-Hire Accounts Payable Specialist

Manufacturing and Distribution Giant in Dallas, TX is looking to add an experienced high-volume Accounts Payable Specialist to their team on a contract-to-hire basis.
This need is urgent and can start immediately!!
Some responsibilities include:

• Processes high volume invoices with accuracy and on time

• Manages high volume email mailbox

• Works in A/P Smart system to approve invoices

• Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies

• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions

• Performs other duties as assigned

*Must be proficient in MS Office Suite or related programs

*Must be reliable, punctual and trustworthy with demonstrated initiative
