LaSalle Network has partnered with an innovate client to hire a Windows System Engineer.
The Windows Engineer role will be responsible for the complete administration and maintenance of all Windows systems located at data centers and several smaller sites.
Windows Engineer Responsibilities: Participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure systems provisioning, efficiency and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements Schedule installations and upgrade and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures Work in collaboration with other members of the IT Infrastructure support teams on new systems setup, performance management, routine maintenance, capacity planning, break/fix, backups and data center operations Windows Engineer Requirements: 12 years of experience with 8 years of proven record as a Sr. Windows Engineer 8 years of experience in Windows 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 Server Operating System Administration Function well in managing and maintaining a large-scale, complex, cross-functional/platform server environments, especially those in multiple data centers Knowledge of Windows Clustering and Network Load Balancing Strong skills in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting server-class hardware (Preferably HP, Dell, IBM, Cisco, Blade Chassis) Good troubleshooting knowledge of all the current Windows OS version and Active Directory Experience troubleshooting and resolving network related issues, including a fundamental knowledge of networking concepts Experience identifying issues and determining root cause via a consistent, logical approach Proven track record providing excellent customer service Good communication skills Scripting knowledge Knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP Strong knowledge of OS and patching troubleshooting Basic knowledge of Network and VMware; strong knowledge of Backup troubleshooting Windows Cluster Understanding of High Availability architecture (Load Balancing, Distribution, Failover, Replication) Experience in user administration/management Good remote infrastructure troubleshooting skills Basic Azure knowledge Thank you, Fatima Salgado Project Manager LaSalle Network LI-DNP LaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.
