We are currently looking for an experienced Contractor Sales Representative to promote and sell Microsoft's complete product portfolio to commercial clients. Job Description

Job Overview:

As a Contractor Sales Representative for Microsoft, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Microsoft's full range of products and solutions, including Microsoft 365, Azure cloud services, Windows, Surface devices, Dynamics 365, and other enterprise solutions. You will focus on identifying new opportunities, engaging potential clients, and delivering tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of commercial organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Product Expertise: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Microsoft's diverse product portfolio, including cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure), productivity tools (Microsoft 365), software, devices (Surface), and business applications (Dynamics 365).
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Prospect and build a strong pipeline of commercial clients through networking, cold calling, referrals, and research. Target key industries and verticals that would benefit from Microsoft's offerings.
Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct engaging and informative sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of Microsoft solutions for commercial clients.
Consultative Selling: Use a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and challenges, offering customized Microsoft solutions that drive business transformation and operational efficiency.
Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales process, from identifying and qualifying leads to closing deals and providing post-sale support. Ensure smooth transitions from sales to implementation teams.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with commercial clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any ongoing needs related to Microsoft products.
Meet Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics, with a strong focus on growing revenue and expanding Microsoft's footprint within your client base.
CRM & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) for accurate reporting, lead tracking, and sales pipeline management. Provide regular progress reports to AFL International Consulting Staff and Services Inc.
Collaboration: Work closely with the internal teams at AFL International Consulting to stay informed about product updates, promotions, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with Microsoft's local sales and support teams when necessary.

Qualifications

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the technology or IT solutions space. Previous experience selling Microsoft products or other enterprise solutions is highly preferred.
Sales Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Experience with long sales cycles and consultative selling is important.
Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of Microsoft's products and services, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Surface devices, and business applications.
Consultative Approach: Proven ability to use a consultative sales method, uncovering client needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive business value.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable discussing technical features and benefits with clients at various levels of technical expertise, from C-suite executives to IT professionals.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex product information in a clear, compelling way.
CRM & Tools: Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), email marketing tools, and other sales productivity platforms.
Self-Motivated & Results-Oriented: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet sales targets. Self-starter with a strong drive for success.
Flexibility: Ability to work remotely and travel as needed, adapting to the flexible nature of a contractor role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience selling Microsoft's cloud-based solutions (Azure, Microsoft 365).
Strong network within commercial sectors, particularly in industries such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or retail.
Knowledge of the Microsoft licensing models and enterprise-level procurement processes.
Experience managing both small and large accounts, with a focus on long-term relationship-building and client retention.
