Brunel has an exciting job opportunity for a Contracts Manager working on a contract basis for our client who are a large global mining company. Initially working from home then you will relocate to Arizona towards the end of 2024 on a 4/1 rotation.
Manages all contracts for assigned capital projects from conception through execution and completion. Responsible for post contract administration and management of all contract matters relating to the obligations and duties of both parties.
r n r n Analysis all contracts including the conditions, scope, and other Works information to identify requirements and deliverables and to highlight areas of risk such as ambiguities, conflicts, or deviations from the scope of work. Makes recommendations to the Project Managers on the mitigation of these risks. Closely monitors and supports remedial actions and implements appropriate actions. r n Engage Project Managers and Project Procurement Managers to ensure project development plans, requisitions, contracts and payment systems are implemented in accordance with the company's established policies, procedures and business practices. r n r n Minimum Qualifications
r n r n High School diploma or GED and ten (10) years' experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering, OR r n Bachelor's degree in supply chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering and six (6) years' experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering r n Knowledge of the principles and practices of commercial contracts management r n Work involves frequent travel, international assignments, and relocation to the site of work. r n Proficient in the use of personal computers in a business environment. Preferred Qualifications
r n r n Experience with large copper production and related facilities. r n Prior EPCM experience preferred. r n Heavy industrial construction commercial management experience r n
Position offers a daily pay rate along with accommodations, travel, and monthly stipend for non-local candidates only. As a full-time contractor with Brunel, you are eligible for medical, dental and vision on your first day of employment. This contract position also comes with a 3% 401K match.
