Contracts Manager

System One is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager for a long-term contract position working in Denver, CO.

This role will focus on managing contracts related to gas turbines, wind, solar, and battery storage initiatives, with a portfolio size of $300-500 million. You will oversee existing contracts, negotiate new agreements, and collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams.

ResponsibilitiesManage and administer existing contracts, including large construction and equipment supply agreements.Implement new contracts, including drafting and issuing requests for proposals (RFPs) to prospective suppliers and contractors.Evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and oversee the contract lifecycle from inception to completion.Collaborate with engineering and construction managers to support power generation projects in the Denver area.Anticipate travel within the local area to construction sites as projects progress, typically a day or two per week.Foster strong working relationships across teams to ensure project success. Qualifications/Skills10-12 years of experience in the power generation or industrial/commercial construction industry.Proven track record in managing complex agreements and strong contract negotiation skills.Proficient in SAP and Coupa (contract management software).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Self-driven, forward-thinking, and able to take initiative within a collaborative team environment.Ability to understand and manage the complexities and risks associated with large contracts. Pay Rate:$80 - $85 / Hour
