Job Description Controller Company Overview Our company is a recognized leader in heavy civil construction, specializing in Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, and Paving.
With a solid reputation for delivering quality results, we are searching for an experienced Controller to lead our accounting department and oversee our financial operations as we transition to a new ERP platform.

Position Summary As Controller, you will manage all aspects of construction accounting and oversee the transition to a new ERP system, helping our team optimize its capabilities.
Ideal candidates will bring a deep understanding of construction accounting and extensive experience in both self-performed and general contracting operations.

Responsibilities Oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll. Lead the company's ERP transition, collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and data integrity. Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making for Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, and Paving projects. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with project teams on accurate project costing, billing, and profitability analysis. Qualifications Experience: 10+ years in construction accounting, ideally within a company involved in both self-performed operations and general contracting. ERP Experience: Hands-on experience in managing ERP transitions within a construction environment. Construction Accounting Knowledge: Extensive understanding of all construction accounting facets, including project costing and compliance.
