District Partners LLC has been retained by a leading Professional Services firm based in Washington DC to hire a head of accounting and finance.
The opportunity: Lead the Finance & Accounting function for a Professional Services firm in the Washington, DC metro area. Operating with autonomy and as a business/finance advisor to the owners, spearhead the accounting and reporting activities, manage a team of operational accountants, work with CPA firm to ensure proper tax planning and filing, etc.
Desired  Qualifications: Demonstrated ability and skill set required to lead finance & accounting function 10+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance with the past several years in a leadership capacity CPA strongly preferred Hands-on experience with project accounting within Professional Services industry positions or recent experience serving Professional Services firm clients if in public accounting Refined presentation and communication skill set Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction and lead a high performing finance function
