About Our Client: Our client is an innovative and established real estate management firm focused on multifamily housing throughout the Southeast markets.
Its mission is to continue to deliver outstanding communities and elevate and grow.
Maintain general ledger account schedules & prepare monthly depreciation entries.
Assist with preparing client information for all tax returns and audits related to corporate entities with our external auditors and tax preparers.
Monthly close of corporate general ledgers for multiple companies, including consolidating corporate entities' financial statements.
Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliation files.
Prepare and review monthly financial statement reports.
Prepare monthly client invoices and billings, review outstanding accounts receivable balances, and follow up on past-due accounts.
Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and statements.
Review and approve corporate vendor invoices.
Prepare weekly cash memos & daily cash verification.
The Skills & Experience You Possess: 5+ years of experience in the general ledger and real estate accounting
Strong computer aptitude with excellent Excel skills; Accounting Software knowledge of Yardi or MRI preferred
Strong understanding of the principles and practices of GAAP and General Ledger background.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in an organized fashion.
Strong attention to detail and very organized.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to meet deadlines.
