As a Systems Integration (SIG) Controls and Instrumentation Engineer you will be responsible for the design and implementation of control systems for automated test equipment within a multi-disciplined engineering team. This includes a broad range of types; including, but not limited to environmental chambers, semiconductor testers and robotic handling equipment.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Design of Internal equipment power distribution, load estimation and branch protection of DC, single phase and three phase AC.

Specification and implementation of power supplies, pilot devices, sensors, relays, motion control systems and components, circuit protection and safety rated control devices.

Pneumatic design, preparation, control, and distribution.

Analog and digital I/O specification, design, and distribution.

Control System electrical documentation: schematics, component documentation and Bill of Materials.

Interface with Product Engineering and Quality teams to maintain design changes and documentation throughout the life of a product.

Hands on participation of equipment prototype builds.

Participate on multi-disciplined teams to define requirements, schedule, implement and document design.

Interface with Product Engineering and Quality teams to maintain design changes and documentation throughout the life of a product.

Participate in NRTL and CE compliance testing.

Successful candidates for this position will:
Embrace business volatility and adjust accordingly.

Maintain high level of excellence regarding state of the art of ATE industry and equipment safety compliance requirements.

Remain up to date with latest technology trends in control engineering.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics

Preferred Qualifications:
Have experience with system level schematic design and CAD software, EPLAN & SolidWorks preferred.

Experience conducting FMEA and Risk Assessments at both macro and micro levels.

Fluid control system design and implementation.
