Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer Position Overview: We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join our team and be responsible for designing, building, and programming customized automated systems. The Controls Engineer will work with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions that integrate industrial automation systems, electrical controls, and architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Design electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) using AutoCAD electrical. Develop and debug PLC programs using Allen Bradley, Modicon, Beckhoff, Siemens, and other automation protocols. Develop Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and develop visual screens in Factory Talk, RS View, WinCC, and Wonderware. Integrate robots, robotics, and vision systems from ABB, Motoman, Fanuc, and other robot manufacturers. Perform prototyping and testing of hardware and software. Develop detailed documentation for the completed systems. Travel to customer job sites to install and commission systems. Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with PLC, HMI, Automation,  Knowledge of Allen Bradley, Modicon, Beckhoff, Siemens, Factory Talk, RS View, WinCC, and Wonderware. Experience with programming robots from ABB, Motoman, Fanuc, and other robot manufacturers. Familiarity with AutoCAD electrical, Inventor, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
