Controls Engineer Minneapolis, MN | Contract to Hire| $90k - $115k The Controls Engineer will design and program standard and custom machinery. The engineer will possess the knowledge and experience to complete electrical designs in a fast-paced environment following company standards.
Controls Engineer Responsibilities: Develop complete electrical designs Calculate the electrical sizing of control devices Proven knowledge of safety control design Strong understanding of motion control systems with Servos and VFDs Develop electrical design schematics using AutoCAD Electrical Developing code for PLC control programs Controls Engineer Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 3– 5 years related experience or Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and 5 - 7 years related experience Proficient in using AutoCAD Electrical to design electrical schematics PLC and HMI programming experience (Allen Bradley) Skilled with servo control integration (Kinetix 300/350/5500) Proficient with electrical safety design like light curtains, gate safety switches, etc. Proficient in using AutoCAD Electrical Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also required Be the first to learn about future positions by joining our Newsletter and following us on LinkedIn!
