Role : Controls Engineer
Location: Sullivan, MO
Salary: $80-130k DOE
Position Overview: The Controls Engineer will design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for a variety of unique projects. This role requires strong problem-solving and technical skills to ensure successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities: Designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and AutoCAD drawings. Troubleshooting existing electrical systems. Conduct machine safety circuit analysis, machine risk assessments, and equipment FATs. Oversee the commissioning of equipment installations and facility renovations, as well as electrical start-ups. Writing and developing programs for PLCs. Integrating electrical systems with other systems. Identifying and resolving technical and operational issues. Installing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems. Developing and updating project documentation. Working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of projects. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 2+ years of experience with PLC and HMI preferably with Allen Bradley or Siemens. Knowledge of AutoCAD, and electrical systems. Strong problem-solving and technical skills. Familiar with project planning including Electrical Bill of Materials. Provide electrical specifications and standards for installations and equipment. Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
