Cook/Housekeeper (25 Hours Per Week)- Ues

Our client is seeking a Cook/Housekeeper on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Both parents work, mother sometimes in the office and sometimes from home.
Kids (two young teens) are kind, responsible, good students.
Primary responsibility is to prepare delicious and nutritious dinners and tidy up the kitchen afterward.
Additionally, this role will perform basic housekeeping / laundry, occasional errands, and some light child supervision during these hours.
Someone who enjoys cooking and will bring enthusiasm and creativity to this aspect of the job and takes pride in housekeeping would be ideal.


Weekly Hours: 20 - 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday 2/3pm to 7pm (Friday only until 6pm) Responsibilities: Daily: Prepare and serve healthy, gluten free, well balanced meals for the kids Plan ahead and put together grocery list at the end of the week for the following week Light Housekeeping and keeping areas tidy (Kitchen, 3 bedrooms, living room, family room) Weekly: Keep bathrooms clean (3 full bathrooms, 1 half bath) Laundry: wash, dry, iron as necessary, fold, put away Change bedding Go through refrigerator to organize and dispose of old and/or expired food Deep cleaning of a select room each week As needed: Open boxes that arrive, putting things away Flag things that might need repairs and communicating with building staff Run quick errands in neighborhood (e.g., take dry cleaning, drop box off at UPS / post office) Water plants
