To join this team please have the following requirements:
High school diploma preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Prior work experience with food preparation Responsibilities: Food Preparation/Production Responsibilities Reviews menus, production and prep guides to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared.'
Prepares all meal items according to planned menus and standardized recipes in a sanitary manner to ensure the utmost in quality with a minimum of waste.
Uses nutritionally equivalent substitutes when required.
Operates a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment, such as blender, mixer, fryer, slicer, steamer, food processor, convection oven, stove, conventional oven, steam table and tilt skillet.
Wash, peel, cut, and shreds vegetables and fruits to prepare for use.
Follows recipes.
Prepares and assists with special function meals.
