ABOUT THE ROLE The Sales & Marketing Coordinator works with the Affinity sales team responsible for the Affinity channel to provide support through marketing, administrative support, event coordination, and customer service.
\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide administrative support for the Affinity & Charter sales team. Manage onboard arrangements between Affinity partners and the ships. Assist with marketing support. Maintain and update Affinity & Charter sales database in Salesforce. Assist in coordinating Affinity & Charter sales events, Educational Voyages, and follow up communications. Assist with pre-voyage webinars and briefings.Work in concert with the Affinity & Charter team to meet and surpass revenue targets. Other projects and duties as requested. Attend industry events as needed. Occasional travel may be required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience. 2+ years in sales and customer service support, preferably in the travel industry. Excellent English verbal and writing skills.?? Excellent phone communication skills.?? Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.?? Strong customer service skills. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong skills in organization, time management, handling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines. Proactive and able to work independently as well as with others in a team environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of Salesforce? Understanding of the Seaware reservation system.

This role is eligible for an annual bonus, based on performance.

COMPENSATION STATEMENT Lindblad Expeditions determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant's location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
