This is ahybrid position based out of Feeding America's Chicago office location. At Feeding America, we believe in offering a flexible work environment. Employees can be in the office an average of 2 days a week (when not travelling for work) and work from home on other days. Employees also have access to a 30-day "work anywhere" program during the course of each calendar year that can be combined with PTO and/or holidays.

The Opportunity
The Coordinator, Capacity Building Services supports all Strategic Capacity Development teams with the execution of capacity-building resources (e.g., guides, templates, tools, etc.) and services (e.g., webinars, trainings, conferences, assessments, etc.), helping network members build sustainability and resiliency to best meet the needs of their communities and people facing hunger. This role is instrumental in communicating available resources and opportunities to network members, delivering a cohesive experience for members, and evaluating the impact of services across core functional areas, including agency relations, neighbor experience and access, disaster readiness and response, food sourcing, and fundraising.

Historically, systemic racism and sexism in all aspects of our society, including compensation practices, has led to pay inequities that negatively impact people of color, women, and especially women of color. These practices include basing salary offers on previous compensation and negotiating salary offers. As such, we maintain transparent salary ranges and clearly defined practices for how our team, including new hire salary offers, moves through these ranges. You can expect us to offer the best salary up front based on these clearly defined pay practices with little room for negotiation. The salary range listed below represents the starting to mid-point salaries for positions and comparable roles at this level at our organization and candidates should expect to be offered a salary near the starting point of the range that is listed on the job posting. We make exceptions for highly experienced (multiple years of at-level experience) new hires in accordance with our pay practices. Once hired, employees have the opportunity to progress through salary ranges via regular merit increases and step promotions.

Salary Range: $72,000 to $77,000 Based on Experience

Responsibilities:
Develop and standardize processes for consistent and efficient delivery of capacity-building services and resources across a matrixed team, including network communications plans, newsletter development and deployment, SharePoint page management, maintenance of service line materials, and coordination of in-person and virtual learning opportunities.
Serve as the centralized lead on capacity-building services standard operating procedures (SOPs), including annual review, maintenance, and enhancements of procedures and policies.
Lead execution of the annual self-assessment service offering across Strategic Capacity Development functional areas and serve as the primary network point of contact for self-assessment tools, including annual promotion and outreach to the network, tracking participation, managing network follow-ups, generating reports and dashboards, coordinating action planning calls, and managing note/updates in SalesForce CRM.
Manage event coordination and logistics for in-person institutes and cohort meetings for Strategic Capacity Development team, such as participation registration, room blocks, internal scheduling and coordination, catering, set-up, printing materials, etc., including budget management, vendor management, and invoicing.
Provide basic technical and administrative support for Strategic Capacity Development network webinars and virtual learning opportunities across a variety of platforms (e.g., Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams).
Support application and selection processes for opt-in Strategic Capacity Development capacity-building services, including network communication, webinar scheduling and production, document management, etc.
Compile cross-team inputs for Strategic Capacity Development dashboard and annual plan to understand progress against plans and goals, and the impact of services.
Partner with Strategic Capacity Development teams and the Network Learning team on content audits and maintenance of key resources to ensure resources are current and accessible.
Provide administrative support for disaster response activation, such as coordinating with network members on loaned staff assignments, monitoring the disaster relief inbox, and compiling inputs from the Disaster Response Leadership Team to maintain an update to date situation report.
Proactively track network communication channels related to Strategic Capacity Development functional areas (e.g., listservs, Yammer groups, etc.) to surface opportunities for response/engagement and identify trends and promising practices in the network.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience, including project management and/or administrative responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to navigate matrixed teams and support multiple business partners.
Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
Experience establishing and documenting processes.
Technical experience with a variety of software systems, such as CRM (customer relationship management), CMS (content management system), SharePoint, virtual meeting/webinars (e.g., Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams), survey and analytics tools (e.g., Qualtrics), etc.
