Job Description: Join the excitement at the State University of New York at Oneonta's Admissions Office! We are searching for a dynamic individual to become our Coordinator of Transfer Articulation and Credit. In this role, you'll guide the transfer process for incoming students and ensure the seamless articulation of credits.
Duties include but are not limited to: Teamwork Enthusiast: Collaborate with academic departments to review and update course equivalency, while also working with various departments to assess transfer credits, craft pathways, and maintain accurate records.Transfer Trailblazer: Provide support and guidance to students navigating the transfer process, assisting them in maximizing their transfer credits, and developing and maintaining transfer articulation agreements with partner institutions.Detail-Driven: Maintain accurate transfer articulation records and generate reports on transfer credit trends and outcomes.Trend Tracker: Stay informed about best practices, trends, and SUNY policy related to transfer articulation and credit transfer.Salary: $58,000-$60,000 - commensurate with experience.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in higher education administration, counseling, or related field.Experience working in higher education, preferably in admissions, registrar's office, or academic advising.Valid driver's license.Strong understanding of transfer credit evaluation processes and transfer articulation pathways.Ability to travel overnight and work evenings and weekends.Additional Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in higher education administration, counseling, or related field.Previous experience counseling/working with prospective students.Previous experience with database management.Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.Experience using Slate CRM.Additional Information: SUNY Oneonta enrolls about 5,500 students who pursue bachelor's or master's degrees or certificates in one of 70-plus academic programs.
