Job DescriptionIn this role, the successful applicant will coordinate and work with the Manager Project Management to develop the Project Management Framework, promote effective project management methods, and improve the capability of project management across the organisation. While upholding and consistently demonstrating the City's values of Respect, Integrity, Customer Service and Teamwork.
The key responsibilities of this role: Facilitates training sessions to educate and enhance awareness to improve Project Management capability across the organisation.Contributes to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of project management policies, procedures, templates, and tools, and ensures adherence with project governance methodology, frameworks, and standards across all projects.Promotes a culture which models innovation, collaboration, coordination, and partnership with a range of diverse Stakeholders.Reviews, supports, and promotes the development of Business Cases.Scans the external environment for best practice and trends.Assist with the development and implementation of project plans, resource plans and budgets for the delivery of projects.To be successful in this role you will have: A relevant tertiary qualification/industry accreditation or extensive experience in project management.Demonstrated experience Project Management in a complex environment.Highly developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff at all levels and to engage key stakeholders.Experience in providing advice and reports that contribute to the overall strategic management of an organisation.Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically, particularly in the analysis of trends and opportunities.What the City of Subiaco can offer you: Up to five weeks of annual leave.Rostered days off.Sustainable travel allowance or a parking permit.Free membership to Lords Recreation Centre.Health Insurance Corporate Membership discounts.Flexible working arrangements.Superannuation co-contributions.12 weeks of paid parental leave.24/7 Employee Assistance Program.Social Club.Novated lease and salary packaging options.Learning and development options.Paid study leave and tuition assistance.Health assessments.Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,760 per annum plus 11.5% employer superannuation and additional co-contribution to your superannuation.
