Fact-check information and verify sources.

Adhere to style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago) and maintain editorial standards.
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Identify and correct errors in logic, flow, and clarity.
Suggest improvements to sentence structure, word choice, and overall readability.
Adapt editing style to suit different content formats (e.g., blog posts, website copy, marketing materials, social media posts).
Use online editing tools and software effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Copy Editor or Proofreader with a strong portfolio of edited work.
Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style.
Familiarity with various style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago).
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for errors.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using online editing tools and software (e.g., Grammarly, ProWritingAid).
Must be located in the United States or be a U.S. permit resident.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
