We're looking for a talented Copywriter & Researcher to join our marketing team to craft compelling content, conduct in-depth research, and assist in driving content marketing initiatives. Position Summary: The Copywriter & Researcher will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice of our brands by creating high-quality written content across various platforms, such as emails, ads, blogs, websites, and whitepapers. In addition, this position will lead market and audience research, ensuring that our content is data-driven and audience-specific. This role requires excellent interviewing skills to gather valuable insights from customers and strong collaboration with internal teams to develop impactful sales materials and sponsored content. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Write compelling and engaging content for various channels, including email campaigns, ad copy, blogs, website copy, whitepapers, technical/ instructional documents, SEO-optimized articles, and sponsored content. Proofreading & Editing: Review and edit content written by other team members to ensure brand consistency, grammar accuracy, and tone. Email Marketing Campaign Management: Assist in the creation and management of email marketing campaigns, including writing subject lines, body copy, and calls to action, as well as performing A/B testing to optimize performance. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze content performance data (e.g., blog traffic, email open rates) to refine content strategies and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Market & Audience Research: Conduct research to understand target markets, audience segments, and industry trends to inform content strategy and improve audience engagement. Customer Interviews: Conduct interviews with customers to gather valuable insights for case studies, testimonials, and content creation. Collaborating with Design Teams: Work closely with the graphics team and the content marketing team to ensure that visual elements complement the written content and enhance the overall message. Internal Communications Support: Assist with internal communications by creating newsletters, announcements, and memos for company-wide distribution. SEO Auditing & Strategy Development: Conduct keyword research, implement SEO best practices, and audit existing content to improve search engine visibility. This position will also be responsible for working with an external organic traffic team, ensuring deadlines are met, and providing necessary resources. Competitor Analysis: Perform competitor content and market analysis to inform the strategy for blogs, whitepapers, and other marketing materials. Press Releases & Public Relations Support: Write press releases and potentially manage outreach to journalists or media outlets to enhance brand visibility. Project Management: Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely delivery of assets for campaigns and marketing initiatives. Creative Brainstorming & Campaign Development: Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative marketing campaigns, contributing to content strategy and campaign development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or marketing research. Strong writing and editing skills with experience in digital marketing channels. Proven ability to conduct thorough research, interviews, and analysis to inform content. Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices. Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, including keyword research, competitive analysis, and content performance tracking. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interview customers and internal staff effectively. Experience with WordPress Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in B2B industries or marketing multiple brands. Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Familiarity with Mailchimp Knowledge of advertising and sales material development.
