I joined the Nutanix Performance Engineering Team almost 10 years ago and have been a manager on the team for over eight years. The Performance Engineering Team is one of the best teams I've ever been a part of and is comprised of senior engineers with a huge depth of knowledge. Our goal is to expand our addressable market by making performance a positive differentiator. How we WorkWe care about how much is done, not where or when you do it. While we have individual team members in several locations, most are in Durham. People work the hybrid schedule that works best for them. One fantastic thing about our team is the different sets of strengths throughout the team and how readily they are shared. It's common to see on our slack channel, "I see something strange. Can anyone help me understand?" If you want to work on products by yourself where you don't have to interact with anyone, this is not a good team for you. However, if you enjoy working on tough problems and helping others work on tough problems, this might be a great fit. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be betweenUSD$116,800 and USD$234,000 per year.However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
