We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Controller to join our thriving construction company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial and accounting functions, including regulatory compliance, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
This role is integral to our financial health and will play a key role in maintaining the trust of our stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of construction industry dynamics and an ability to forecast financial trends.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations of the company including but not limited to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Develop and implement operational accounting systems and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Prepare and manage the company's annual budget, monitor actual performance against the budget, and provide detailed financial forecasts. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported in a timely and accurate manner. Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation. Collaborate with executive team members to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants. Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department's overall policy and procedure manual. Evaluate the finance division structure for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
A CPA or related qualification is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the construction industry. Proven experience in financial reporting, operational accounting, and budgeting.
