EHR Services has partnered with Covaris, LLC to hire a strategic and experienced Corporate Controller to lead our financial operations. The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting, and compliance within our manufacturing environment. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures, financial controls, and regulatory requirements. This role will report to the Senior Director of Finance. Essential Responsibilities: The employee may be required to perform all, or a combination of the following essential responsibilities as determined by business necessity. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making. Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial forecasting. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed. Manage manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, and overhead allocation. Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and maximize profitability. Develop and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and regulatory filings. Oversee inventory accounting and valuation processes. Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs. Partner with executive management to develop financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives and growth initiatives. Provide financial leadership and guidance to support business expansion and operational improvements. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Develop talent within the finance team, supporting career growth and succession planning. Non-Essential Responsibilities: In addition to the essential responsibilities listed above, the employee may be required to perform other non-essential functions. Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by their supervisor. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles, inventory management, and financial analysis. Experience with ERP systems and financial software. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments. Proven track record of implementing financial controls, process improvements, and driving results in a dynamic environment.
