We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Corporate Legal Assistant to join our team.
This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work on complex legal matters across a diverse range of industries.
As a Corporate Legal Assistant, you will have the chance to work alongside our team of experienced attorneys and paralegals, providing essential support in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Responsibilities
The Corporate Legal Assistant will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to:
1.
Reviewing and editing client bills to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
2.
Assisting attorneys with a wide variety of tasks, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, and coordinating meetings.
3.
Maintaining and organizing legal files to ensure that all relevant information is easily accessible and up-to-date.
4.
Communicating with clients, attorneys, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.
5.
Managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, prioritizing work as necessary to meet the needs of the team and clients.
6.
Performing other administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling, data entry, and document management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Corporate Legal Assistant position will have the following qualifications:
1.
A minimum of five years of experience in a legal assistant role, preferably within a large law firm or corporate legal department.
2.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to review and edit client bills accurately.
3.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other parties.
4.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
5.
Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
6.
A high degree of professionalism and a strong commitment to client service.
7.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
8.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred.
9.
Bilingual Spanish/English is strongly preferred.
