Previous experience working for a law firm or corporate legal team required.
Experience in the power and renewables sectors a plus.

Job Responsibilities: Drafting, filing and managing various business entity documents for corporations and LLCs, including entity formation, entity foreign qualifications, obtaining EINs and annual reports Prepare resolutions, consents, board minutes and other corporate governance documents Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements Assist with contract negotiations and review Support management of active contracts, including real estate leases Assist with all stages of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., board of directors and auditors) Develop, implement and manage policies and procedures for managing the company's records Prepare, update and manage corporate policies and procedures Provide support in litigation and dispute resolution processes Support office manager functions when required Organizes and manages documents, including creating spreadsheets and retrieval systems Uses legal software, databases and other software to support company operations Work Hours and Benefits: This position is full-time position in Houston, TX.
