Overview: We are searching for a Recruiter role based out of our Rockville, MD office that will support professional-level roles for TurningPoint. The senior recruiter will be responsible for turning the business strategy into an actionable recruiting strategy and building proactive recruiting plans to address critical talent gaps, helping the organization assess and select talent for both today's and tomorrow's business needs and ultimately creating competitive advantage in the business and talent marketplace. Chosen candidate must have full life-cycle recruiting experience (from job posting to screening and hiring). TurningPoint has several openings time to time, in the area of Software Engineering (technical candidates), Business Development, Proposal and Capture management and other professional areas. Chosen candidate should have experience recruiting for all positions, including C-Level resources. Chosen candidate will work with HR Manager and report to the VP Of Finance.
Job Responsibilities: Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.). Partner with hiring managers to understand specific needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies for filling the open positions. This includes developing a compelling job description, posting the job on various job sites. Source, screen, and qualify, top talent with relevant experience and expertise in government contracting regulations and procedures. Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to identify the best candidates for open positions. Negotiate competitive offers and manage the entire recruitment process from start to finish. Stay up-to-date on government contracting regulations and industry trends. Build strong relationships with both hiring manager and candidates. Provides guidance on local and regional workforce trends and competitive environment. Take steps to ensure a positive candidate experience. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. · Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, technical skills, and professional consulting skills · Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Education and Experience: Five (5) to seven (7) seven years of experience in talent management. Government contracting experience. Bachelor's degree in related technical and/or human resources field required. Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
