To foster that growth and innovation, New York Life is looking for a talented individual to join our Marketing Team as Corporate Vice President, Strategy and Integrated Marketing to support the strategy development and execution of integrated marketing plans that provide consistent message and coherent experience to our target audience across various marketing channels.
The role requires strong analytical skills, creative thinking and a deep understanding of marketing channels and how to maximize their effectiveness through a coordinated marketing approach.
The Marketing Strategy and Integrated Marketing Team works closely with Marketing and other cross-functional leaders to help define & articulate the growth strategy for Marketing, including strategic partnership opportunities.
This team also partners with Senior Leaders in the various business and functional areas across New York Life to understand their digital marketing needs and supports development and execution of strategic initiatives and solutions to address those needs.
What You'll Do: Support Marketing Leadership Team in defining transformational growth strategies to drive new customer acquisition, increase customer retention and maximize customer lifetime value.Develop integrated marketing plans that encompass an appropriate mix of traditional and emerging marketing channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with New York Life's business, brand and marketing strategy.Identify and leverage the most suitable marketing channel mix to engage our target audience effectively.
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging platforms, exploring opportunities in social media, content marketing, email marketing, SEO, paid advertising, events, sponsorships and more.Understand the audience, market, and competitive landscape to deliver differentiated programs by scenario.Oversee development of content and messaging for integrated programs to ensure consistency across touchpoints and work with channels to optimize messaging based on their priorities.Support the execution of integrated marketing plans by partnering with various channel teams and coordinating across stakeholders.Continually optimize performance across the marketing mix and deliver insights and opportunities.
Utilize data-driven insights to measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns - providing actionable recommendations for optimization and future campaigns.Lead business planning for the growth initiatives that include cost benefit analysis, developing business case and outlining the steps and resources required to execute the initiatives effectively.Assist with change management to minimize disruption and drive the adoption of new initiatives.Support agenda and material development for meetings with senior executives and the Board.What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree required, MBA or master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field strongly preferred.8+ years of functional experience in marketing, brand or management consulting.
Internal experience is a plus.Experience in financial services is a plus.Possess a strong understanding of marketing principles, channels, and tactics, including digital marketing strategies and emerging trends.Experience in developing and implementing growth strategy or business development.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms is a plus.Outstanding critical thinking, analytical and quantitative abilities to generate innovative marketing ideas and concepts.Experience in driving multiple projects and work-streams, including project planning, execution, and milestone reporting.Strong connector of people, concepts, and applications.Able to translate complex concepts simply and distill key "so what's" for an array of stakeholders.Ability to toggle between strategic considerations and tactical implications, helping to deliver the approach and execute to create specific deliverables.Strong and effective communication skills; ability to present to senior leaders, as well as peers in a clear manner, fostering dialogue and helping to drive decisions.Collaborative work style and leadership presence; ability to effectively interact and forge strong working relationships with team members and leaders across the organization.Ability to build relationships across the organization to influence areas outside direct line of reporting.Agile, self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines while navigating the ambiguity of a dynamic work environment.Pay Transparency Salary Range: $123,000 - $165,000
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.
Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
