DESCRIPTION OF WORK A Corrections General Factory Supervisor oversees manufacturing and production in a Correctional Industries factory.
You will supervise staff and inmates completing factory production and services.
This will include overseeing instruction and on-the-job training, reviewing and approving requisitions, and preparing and maintaining personnel reports.
A key duty will be managing all phases of design and development for goods that are produced at SCI Forest.
You will also ensure compliance with established industry sanitation and safety standards, maintain machinery and tools, and enforce security and custody regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
This position is eligible for full benefits at age 50 or 55.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $54,413 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Corrections General Industries Factory Foreperson (commonwealth title); or Four years of experience in the production of goods or services, which includes one year of lead work experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes one year of lead work experience in the production of goods or services.
Other Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
