In the role of Cost Controller Summer Student, you get exposure to various roles in Project control cost and scheduling through rotations with existing team members.
Placement Details:
This is a 3 month placement starting in June 2025, located in Duluth, MN.
What you will do:
Monitor project costs at the WBS level including control budget, incurred costs, commitments, and forecast.
Provide the project team with accurate and timely cost information and reporting.
Perform earned value measurements to anticipate forecast impacts.
Perform monthly project close processes and prepare monthly project reports.
Prepare project change orders.
Review cost transactions to ensure accurate project costs.
Liaise with Project Team and Controls Team to ensure engagement with the project costs, forecast, progress, changes, highlights and issues.
Assist primary scheduler with schedule updates.
Collect LEMS and track incurred costs.
Validate invoices.
Participate in meetings to stay informed of project changes to scope, cost, schedule and progress.
Who you are:
You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studyingBusiness – emphasis in Finance/Accounting/Mathematics or Engineeringand will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge's core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).
Effective communicator, team player, attention to detail
Effectively manage and prioritize workload
Ability to work independently within team setting, bring issues forward
Intermediate+ MS Excel, PowerPoint skills
Nice to have:
Ability to analyze data for root cause and trends
PowerBI beginner user

Working Conditions:
Office based role, located in Duluth, MN.
