Johnstone Supply is looking for a driven individual to join our counter teama high-energy, attention-to-detail candidate who can engage with customers with the highest level of customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities of the Counter Sales Associate include, but are not limited to: Customer Service Greet customers and assist them in locating the products they needAnswer questions about HVAC products, prices, availability, and usageHandle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely mannerProvide recommendations and guidance to customers based on their specific requirementsProvide accurate information regarding the availability of in-stock itemsSales SupportProcess sales transactions accurately using the POS systemGenerate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information promptlyCalculate and quote process, discounts, and applicable taxesUpsell additional products or services to customersFollow up on sales leads and inquiries to generate additional businessTechnical AssistanceAssist customers with technical questions or issues related to HVAC productsRefer complex technical inquiries to TSAAdministrative TasksMaintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory movementsAssist with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and phone/email correspondenceInventory ManagementMonitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to managementAssist in stocking shelves and organizing inventoryBENEFITSCompetitive payCompetitive medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance coverageBonus Earn PTO hours immediatelyPaid holidaysOpportunities for development401K with a company match QUALIFICATIONS RequiredA high school diploma or equivalent is requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with computers and different software programsMust be able to bend, stand reach, pull, lift, and carry items up to 75 poundsPreferred2 + years of experience in customer service or sales DesiredHVAC industry experience Johnstone Supply -The Balsan Group Johnstone Supply, The Balsan Group is a leading family-owned HVAC-R Distributor in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York that is rapidly growing.
