Responsibilities
• Identify program opportunities in Libya• Manage and provide oversight for programs• Design program interventions and support peacebuilding efforts• Monitor and evaluate program learning• Facilitate communications between Libya and HQ offices• Represent USIP to stakeholders and coordinate experience exchanges• Manage in-country budget and ensure financial reporting• Provide leadership and support for program implementation• Support DEIA initiatives and logistical support for visitors• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, humanities, or international relations/conflict management• Minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant areas• Minimum of 3 years of senior management experience in international development, human rights, and/or peacebuilding• Experience in Middle East and on Libya programs• Familiarity with contract and grants management, country program operations, and project management• Excellent political analysis, reporting, and teambuilding skills• Ability to operate independently in complex and challenging situations• Excellent oral and written communication skills
