Responsible for following up of patients, educating patients and/or caregivers, and documentation. Dietitians will assist in quality assessment audits, in-service and community education programs, as well as participate in interdisciplinary team for care planning and quality improvement as required by regulatory bodies. Job Requirements Education Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university Experience Preferred: 3 years' dietitian experience in the teaching and nutritional evaluation of patients with chronic diseases Skills Ability to frequently interact with people, and deal with diverse education levels. Familiar with age specific needs for patient population served. Knowledge of personal computer and software usage specific to job.(Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.) Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Registered Dietitian with State Licensure or Registry eligible with successful completion within 90 days of hire.
