The University of Austin (UATX) is seeking a highly motivated and organized Creative Media Manager to support our Creative Director in enhancing the University's marketing initiatives. This role is pivotal in managing projects, producing and capturing content, and maintaining our website, contributing directly to the brand development of America's newest university. The Creative Media Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and digital narrative of UATX. Full-time position based on campus in Austin, TX from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday, with work occasionally required on nights and weekends.
\n Key Responsibilities:Assist in the management and execution of creative projects across multiple media disciplines.Capture and produce high-quality content including graphics, photos, and videos.Manage and update website content to ensure freshness and relevance.Coordinate with contractors and the internal creative team to manage a high volume of creative requests.Ensure all materials meet the University's standards for quality and timeliness.Actively engage in social media marketing, advertising, and e-commerce strategies.Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, preferably in-house.Excellent organizational and coordination skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in at least one of the following areas, with a willingness and ability to learn and support others as needed: Graphic Design Photography Video Capture and Editing Social Media Marketing Advertising Writing Website Design and Maintenance E-commerce and Merchandising Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a university setting or similar educational institution.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Familiarity with creative media software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Webflow, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro.
