IBM is in search of a Creative Social Strategist to oversee the building and evolution of @IBM presence across all social platforms. Inclusive of product, culture, and business priorities.
As part of the Global Social Media & Influence team you are responsible for translating our brand story across the @IBM social channels- adapting per platform, audience, internal priorities, and culture. In this position you will play a key role in building informed (by business, research, and culture) net new creative social strategies in partnership with teammates and cross-functional partners, and driving through to execution and measurement; you will be working in lockstep with in-house creative resources to build and feedback on supporting creative.
Job Responsibilities Include:
· Develop and implement social media strategies that align with the organization's marketing and communications objectives. This involves understanding key platform strengths, researching audience, building a strategy, pitch, and supporting tactics.
· Monitor and measure social media performance. Analyze data and use it to optimize social media strategy over time.
· Stay up to date on social media trends and best practices across all key platforms (LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok) . Knowledgeable about emerging platforms and tools in order to provide feedback and adapt content while building tactical plans.
· You have a keen understanding of how to connect business priorities to culture through intentional social storytelling
· Build relationships with key platform partners to remain up-to-date and a point person for social in the broader org
· Manage internal stakeholders invested in campaign specific plans
Creative Resource Management:
· Provide confident feedback on creative, copy, and social strategy to internal creative resources
· Play ownership role in partnering with creative resources during pivotal marquis brand moments- from briefing, project management, creative feedback, stakeholder management, and execution.
