Credit Analyst The Credit Analyst works directly with Star Furniture's customers to provide credit information and credit decisions in a positive and professional manner. Reports To: Credit Manager Essential Functions: Process and decision consumer credit applicationsResearch information to ensure accuracyManage risk through fraud protection practicesAssist with training needs throughout networkHandle underwriting administrative duties as needed Requirements: Our ideal candidate will have a 1-2 year introduction to consumer lendingA preferred background in banking, retail lending, credit, mortgage, auto financing, or similarWeekend hours requiredOffice hours required, with the possibility of a hybrid work schedule in the future Education & Qualifications: High school Diploma required, advanced education a plusPreferred office related experience in finance, banking, or retail Supervisory Responsibility: None. Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, tablets, and other office equipment. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work: This is position and hours of work would routinely be 40+ hours per week and requires working every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.  Given the nature of the position, there may be occasions that extra hours and travel may be required.
