Are you ready to make your next career move to join our team and manage the local collections process as our Credit Collections Associate for KONE Phoenix, AZ? Essential Functions: Maximize branch cash flow by engaging collection activity directly with KONE customers. Provide weekly reports on collection activities to Branch Manager. Develop and implement a standard process for branch risk review including credit approval and project bond and lien protection. Develop and implement program and become active participant to sell and secure advance payments and prepayments on new projects. Liaison with HQ functional areas of Law, Contract Mgmt., Billing and Financial Services. Assist with resolution of quality issues affecting the performance of the branch region. Education: High school required, Bachelor degree desirable. Experience: 2+ years demonstrated commercial credit and collection experience with direct customer contact. Experience in the service or construction industry a plus with heavy emphasis on customer service and problem solving. Specific Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors: Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel including management, administrative staff, and KONE customers. Experience using SAP. Strong Ability to read and understand contracts. Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to problem-solving. Outcome-based approach, able to collaborate and influence stakeholders to desired outcome. Exhibit a solid professional business image. Able to negotiate and effectively communicate judgment decisions. Able to analyze processes for inefficiencies and direct corrective actions. Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills. Strong managerial skills. Results-oriented and able to handle multiple assignments. Superior customer service(internal/external), organization and prioritization skills. Willing to accept new challenges and assignments as goals are defined and revised. Able to teach skills, knowledge, and operating techniques to others within the organization. Experienced and proficient skills with SAP, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel. Persuasive and logical communicator with strong verbal and writing skills. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to interact and build relationships with team personnel, field personnel and KONE customers. Maintain a professional business image at all times. Demonstrated ability to market and present improvement programs, negotiate changes, and effectively communicate judgment decisions. Results oriented and able to handle multiple assignments. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.
