Critical Facilities EngineerWe are seeking a Critical Facility Engineer (Maintenance Technician) to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role and be comfortable working on tasks that are semi-routine in nature. This role involves following standard operating procedures to ensure the efficient operation of facility components, as well as collaborating with senior staff and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities: Facility/Infrastructure Maintenance Perform semi-routine preventative maintenance on non-critical facility components.Conduct repairs, maintenance, and installations of non-critical components.Monitor the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and respond to alarms based on standard procedures.Assist senior staff with higher-level repairs and maintenance tasks.Operate plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems under the supervision of more experienced staff.Vendor Support Coordinate with vendors to ensure maintenance is completed per company standards.Support the work order process for service providers, tracking work from start to finish.Ensure that vendor activities align with our operational procedures.Site Administration & Incident Support Perform routine site logs, including permits like Maintenance Operation Protocol (MOPs) and scripts.Follow operating procedures to assist with on-site administration.Work Orders & Additional Projects Complete work requests and circuit installations as needed.Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining office and auxiliary equipment.Support senior staff with on-site incidents and directed tasks.Collaboration Work with team members to resolve semi-routine facility issues.Assist senior staff on infrastructure projects and inform stakeholders about inventory needs.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.1-2 years of experience in facility maintenance, technical support, or a related field.Ability to follow standard procedures with minimal supervision.Why Join Us? The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is:
• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $53,000 to $82,000 per year
• California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $49,000 to $75,000 per year
• Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $44,000 to $68,000 per year
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
