We are looking for a dedicated CRTT FT Nights like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe staff respiratory care practitioner provides a variety of technical and clinical therapies to patients of allages. These therapeutic and diagnostic procedures require rational judgment and clinical thinking on thepart of the practitioner, and may include all respiratory modalities, ventilator management, arterial bloodgases analysis, cardiographic (EKG)/arrthymia recognition, and pulmonary function testing and oxygentherapy, along with the clerical duties associated with these procedures. The practitioner works to fulfill thehospital mission, vision, and values, functions as a shift leader when assigned, and supervises lessexperienced practitioners.Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. Maintainscultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers.Promotes a supportive, teamwork-oriented environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with thelong-range plan, mission, vision and values of HorizonPosition Qualifications· Graduate of National Board Respiratory Care approved school of Respiratory Care.· Current TN licensure as a Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner from TN Department of Health.· Basic Life Saver (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification required within 30 days of hire date orpromotion.· STABLE certification within 6 months of hire or promotion· ACLS and PALS certifications are required within 1 year of hire or promotion.
