JOB SUMMARY Collects, decontaminates, stores and distributes all reusable supplies and patient care equipment in the hospital.
Qualifications Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Certification as a Central Service Technician, by an approved organization for the State of Tennessee, within 24 months of placement in position.
