Adventist Health seeks a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Pico Rivera, California.
Job Summary As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
These images will be used to diagnose medical conditions.
Your duties will also include performing a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images
Perform imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients
Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
Use PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location
Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment
Manage supply inventory
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (Preferred)
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT))
Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
Advanced Certification in the modality of CT (Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA)
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification
