Ct Tech - Medical Imaging

Nashville General Hospital is hiring for an CT Technologist as a Full-time Technologist. This CT Tech position is primarily responsible for performing imaging examinations utilizing complex imaging equipment. This position requires interaction with radiologists and referring physicians. CT Technologists perform job duties with independence and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures. *This is a Monday-Friday position working 5 8-hour shifts - open to candidate working 4 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday* CT Technologist Roles and Responsibilities:Operate multi-slice scanner and accompanying power injectorPerform patient care services relevant to imaging procedures to include IV access starts and injection of contrastMaintain log of procedures completed and perform QAEnsure availability of suppliesResponsible for maintaining current CT knowledge baseRequired Skills & Qualifications:6 months working experience required in related field.Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)BLS RequiredAbout Nashville General HospitalNashville General Hospital (NGH) is Nashville's original community-based hospital.
