About The Position Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Job Specialty: Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4 x 10's, Monday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Subject to change) Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Current valid Radiology License Certifications: ARRT Certification in Radiology with advanced qualifications in CT Scan, Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Must-Have: Expertise in operating teleradiology and fax equipment Job Description: - Serve as the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist responsible for the technical operation of Computerized Axial Tomography equipment. - Process radiographic film for both inpatient and outpatient services. - Operate GE scanners, including Optima and Revolution CT models, and GE x-ray equipment. - Provide specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services across various specialties including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and Ear/Nose/Throat (ENT). - Submit and clear fingerprinting prior to starting. - Complete radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology. - Participate in orientation sessions every two weeks. - Adhere to COVID-19 safety procedures, with a requirement for medical exemptions to be approved by a medical review board. - Submit a housing application at least two weeks before the start date. - Holiday coverage required.
