Job Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible for performing specialized CT imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The technologist operates advanced CT equipment, prepares patients for procedures, and ensures high-quality imaging. This contract role involves collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information. The position includes rotating overnight shifts and potential float to other locations within the South Region. Core Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Operate and maintain CT equipment, including GE 64 Slice CT scanners, Phillips portable, and C-Arm, to produce accurate, high-quality images. Monitor and document patient information using the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff. Collaborate with radiologists to review and interpret CT images for accurate diagnosis. Participate in quality control procedures to maintain equipment standards and ensure compliance with departmental protocols. Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. Licensure/Certification: ARRT (CT) Certification required. Current Wisconsin Radiographer's License required. BLS Certification required. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required. 1 year of X-ray experience preferred. Skills: Proficient in CT imaging techniques and radiation safety protocols. Strong clinical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience with Epic EHR charting required. Work Schedule: 8-hour night shifts on weeknights (10:30 PM - 6:30 AM). 12-hour night shifts on Saturday-Sunday as part of a 7 on/7 off schedule. Weekend coverage required every other part of the 7 on/7 off rotation. Float to other South Region locations as needed.
