We havea commitment to its employees by providing competitive rates and compensation,a comprehensive employee benefits programs, attractive working conditions, andthe chance to build and explore a career opportunity by offering professionaldevelopment.Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in SouthJersey **Short Description** • Performs CAT Scan procedures following protocols established by theRadiologist • Operates the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department. • Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitorssupplies and deficiencies. • Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPEneeded. • Maintains licensure and BLS. • Stays current and participates departmental training offered. • Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through politecommunication with all co- workerscustomers. • Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, bothinternal and external. • Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flowcare,helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Transport). • Remains compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorizedentries. Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with lifesafety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Preventionrequirements. • Attends staff meetings and reviews daily huddles to keep current ondepartment communications. • Participates in Departmental On Call and Holiday Requirements. **Experience Required** General, Trauma and ED;Experience with Pediatrics and Cardiac preferred but not necessary **Education Requirements** Graduate of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist Program. Enrollment in or graduation from a qualified Computed Tomography programpreferred **LicenseCertification Requirements** Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).Current NJ-RADTECH License (Radiologic Technologist).ARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography preferred. If not at the time ofhire, within 12 months of employment.
