We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and Qualifications* This is a FT Weekend shift on Nights, Friday - Sunday, 7pm-7am * The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What You Will Do In This Role:Demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific examsMust be willing to work both CT and X-RayBe in charge of exam preparations and patient instructionsUtilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessaryObtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usageBe responsible for the post processing of dataAssist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide the best patient careAssist during codesTurn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipmentWhat qualifications you will need:Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training per ARRTTX State Registered Radiologic TechnicianRegistered with ARRT and Texas (MRT)Basic Cardiac Life Support, BLS, issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart AssociationRegistered Radiographer (ARRT)Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals are hospitals for specialized advanced cardiovascular and spine care.
