Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our leadership team. As the CTO, you will shape the technical direction of ATI, leading the development of our cutting-edge solutions for tire changing and wheel balancing. You will work closely with our leadership and the talented team of engineers to drive innovation and bring our groundbreaking technology to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the technical strategy for ATI, aligning with our mission and business goals Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to deployment Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to define system requirements and specifications Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our robotic solutions Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics, automation, and related technologies Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence Represent ATI in technical discussions with investors, partners, and customers Drive continuous improvement in the development processes, tools, and methodologies Former CTO or senior technical leadership experience (e.g., VP of Engineering, Head of Technology) at a tech startup or an "organization within an organization" focused on hardware and software product development Demonstrated success in creating,launching, and scaling a first-generation hardware product that aligns with business goals Extensive technical expertise with direct experience in multiple domains such as mechatronics, robotics, hardware, software, data, product, and AI Multiple recent examples of hands-on solving complex technical problems Key contributor to the success of a winning organizations that consistently achieved their goals and objectives Strong leadership and team-building capabilities Previous success in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment Resides in the Boston area or is willing to relocate, as the role requires a regular presence (4-5 days per week) in our Waltham, MA lab Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field Experience in the automotive industry or with automotive service technologies Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in robotics and automation Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or ROS Deep understanding of control systems, kinematics, and vehicle dynamics Experience with sensor integration, data acquisition, and machine learning applications in robotics Why Join Us:
