Full job description Description: Seeking a Cell Culture Technician who would be involved with performing cell culture runs the first half of the day and the second half of the day would involve inoculations, harvests and prepping for the following day.
Responsibilities: Conduct cell culture activities using aseptic technique. Work in cleanroom environment - gowning prior to entering lab space Monitor multiple manufacturing production runs and complete routine cell culture maintenance tasks (passaging, seeding, harvesting, concentrating, etc.) Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures (SOPs) and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. Applies basic analytical skills or scientific methods or operational processes to perform straightforward activities. Performs in-process sampling and testing during production using analytical laboratory instruments Performs out of specification (OOS) testing as necessary Documents test results with strict adherence per GMP and GDP. Maintains and organizes instrument calibration and maintenance logbook. Must e able to perform moderate to complex test methods by following written procedure. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science related field 3+ months of lab experience (ideally having worked under biosafety cabinet) Previous aseptic technique experience (can be from academics) Previous mammalian cell culture experience (can be from academics) About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
